James Capuano
Senior Partner
Most recently, Jim served as the Chief Executive Officer at Horizon Telcom in Columbus, Ohio prior to its successful sale in 2024, which was comprised of two operational divisions: a 127-year-old Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) and an Enterprise Fiber division active in four states. He was responsible for launching and growing a third division that focused on fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services for residential customers and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in areas outside the ILEC's residential market. In prior roles he has held the titles of Board member, COO, CTO, and Senior Vice President, of Operations and Engineering.
Patrick Coughlin

Patrick Coughlin has 30 years of sales experience and two decades of expertise in developing high-performing sales teams and marketing strategies. He has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving substantial revenue and profit increases with Carrier/Wholesale, small and medium business, and Fortune 1000/500 clients. His career includes various senior and executive roles, such as Chief Development Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Michael Snyder
Senior Consultant - Fiber-to-the Home Marketing
Michael brings over 30 years of experience to GoodCap Advisors. He has led the FTTP sales and marketing efforts at multiple firms and has held executive level positions at Comcast, Hotwire Communications, Discovery, and D4 Creative.
Susan Hofer
Senior Consultant - Human Resources
In addition to her most recent role as VP of Human Resources for Horizon, Susan served as Vice President HR and Communications at Intelligent Fiber Network, providing leadership for human resources strategy, and managing all talent-related functions through a period of substantial growth. Throughout her career, she has held significant human resources positions in retail/e-commerce, finance, and hospitality organizations. Susan holds several professional credentials including, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
